Good Morning: Positivity
"Stay positive and happy. Work hard and don't give up hope. Be open to criticism and keep learning. Surround yourself with happy, warm and genuine people." ~ Tena Desae This morning I woke up in an amazing mood. I woke up and felt like I was ready to take on the day. I peeked out my window and saw this gorgeous sunrise and just knew that today is going to be good.
I've decided to start doing a new set of blog posts every week called "Good Morning," each with a different topic. Today, I'm going to focus on positivity, considering that was the inspiration for this blog set.
When I was going on job interviews, sometimes they would ask me is if I'm a morning person or night person. I think at the time, my favorite thing was to think about the meme about the exhausted pigeon. That always seemed to describe me. It also had to do with my crazy, inconsistent schedule at my previous job where I would work nights some days and have to turn around and work mornings the next.
Now, my schedule is more consistent and I have a job that I really enjoy. I don't dread having to wake up in the morning and go to work. I have an amazing boss and I get to do work that I love. So, waking up this morning, I see a gorgeous sunrise and I'm ready to start my day (even before I've had my first cup of coffee.)
I challenge you to find the positivity in today. Whether it be you had enough time to have that first cup of morning coffee, your favorite song played on the radio on your way to school or work, or you just have a positive outlook for the today. Be positive and find the good in the day!
